Workshops held on Tuesdays beginning May 6 ending June 24th

Beginner workshop
In the Beginner Workshop you will gain an understanding of all 15 lessons covered in Challenge A. You will learn how to highlight the Henle text to help you and your student navigate each lesson more effectively, and understand the Grammar Blue Book and its role in the curriculum. I will also walk you through the ZTL Resource Notebook, explaining its parts and role in creating a firm Latin & grammar foundation. This tool is valuable and effective and will help you to avoid the confusion of which resources to collect.

Intermediate workshop
This workshop is perfect for all Challenge levels. It will provide the firm foundation in verbs that many Latin students are missing. Come and clear up any confusion with principal parts, conjugations, voice, moods, and the six different tenses. You will also learn how to use the ZTL Verb sheet to conjugate every type of verb without having to flip through multiple pages in the Grammar book. Learn a systematic approach to conjugating verbs.

Advanced Workshop
Lessons 22-30 can be a major roadblock for students as they enter into Challenge 1. It is at this spot that many students become frustrated and quit. I can help you navigate these chapters to give students the confidence needed to keep pushing forward. Along with an introduction to verb foundation, learn how to conjugate the verb in dependent clauses (complex sentences). Some dependent clauses continue to use the indicative mood and others the subjunctive mood. You will also learn how to use verbs as participles (verbal adjectives). Learning Latin will take your understanding of English grammar to the next level.

workshop Testimonials
“Kerri’s live classes and calm, genuine personality have helped my daughters thrive in Latin. Her live classes have such a personal touch. With the ability to ask questions and interact with live classes, my daughters quickly became the top Latin students in their community, even assisting and tutoring classmates in Challenge levels above their own. I am not only grateful to Kerri for making Latin easy for my girls; I am grateful for her personal caring and consideration for her craft.”

Becky

“Kerri was instrumental to my Latin journey. She made what felt like a difficult and boring chore understandable and even fun! Kerri inspired my love of Latin and gave me the tools I needed to flourish. I even used her tools and techniques to tutor my own classmates.”
